These terms and conditions shall apply to every order for the purchase of goods made between the supplier and purchaser and shall be the only terms of contract between Hair and Beauty Hub Limited and the purchaser.
TRADE SALES
By placing an order with the supplier, you are confirming that you are not a Consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Credit legislation and for the Purposes of Sale of Goods legislation and that you are in business and purchasing the goods for the purpose of that business and not for personal use. All professional products sold by us are intended for those qualified in the hairdressing, beauty or barber trade and are for sale on a trade only basis. Customers should be qualified to use the products sold by us. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will be used for their intended purpose. No responsibility will be accepted by the supplier, for trained or untrained personnel without qualified supervision using or mis-using product or equipment supplied by the supplier. If you are a business customer, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using, and we reserve the right to ask you for proof of professional status.
Any advice or recommendation given by the supplier or its employees/agents to the customer as to the storage, application or use of the products which is not confirmed in writing by the supplier is followed or acted on entirely at the customer’s own risk and accordingly the supplier will not be liable for any such advice or recommendation which is not so confirmed.
PRICES AND OFFERS
Prices and offers are correct at the time of goods advertised but are subject to alteration without prior notice. Prices are exclusive of VAT at the ruling rates and delivery costs. It is possible that some of the products advertised may be mis-priced.
Delivery charges will be verified when processing your order. If we have made a mistake and the delivery charge is higher than the price quoted on the website, we may contact you before shipping to request whether you want to continue with your purchase at the correct delivery charge or cancel your order.
All offers are subject to availability. All products within clearance are excluded from any further discounts.
Further discounts cannot be applied to any items that are already discounted.
The supplier reserves the rights to withdraw these offers at any time without prior notice.
VAT free explained: To comply with the law we must still charge and show VAT. VAT is still applied to the order at the current rate but the discount is equivalent to not paying VAT. For example, if you order an item costing £100.00 excl. VAT, the total you would normally pay is £120.00 including VAT. When we run a VAT free promotion, we discount the price of the item to £83.33. Then, when we add VAT the total you pay is £100.00, which would be the original price excl. VAT.
Discount codes: Orders must be over the qualifying amount, excluding VAT and delivery to qualify. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Free delivery is NOT valid when using discount codes unless stated otherwise.
PAYMENT AND CREDIT
Payment is due in full at time of placing an order unless a credit account is held (subject to credit check).
Payment for orders for special order or bespoke goods will be charged in full at the time you place your order. Alterations, cancellations or refunds for special order or bespoke goods cannot be accepted.
Payments for credit accounts are due in full 30 days from date of invoice. Without prejudice to any other rights, it may have the supplier is entitled to charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate or such other rate of interest as shall be determined under the late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 on any overdue payment. Additionally, and without prejudice to its rights the supplier shall be entitled to recover all direct expenses reasonably incurred in collecting or attempting to collect amounts of the price outstanding.
The supplier reserves the right to hold orders if credit accounts are over the agreed credit limit. Orders will not be released until payment has been made to bring the balance adequately below the credit limit to accommodate the held order value.
The supplier reserves the right to obtain credit information where necessary, alter or amend credit charges, to withdraw credit, to accept or reject orders, to refuse applications, or with prior notice, to close an account.
RETENTION OF TITLE
All goods remain the property of the seller until all outstanding invoices are paid in full.
The purchaser agrees, prior to the payment of the whole price of the goods, The supplier or appointed agents may enter the purchaser’s premises to collect such goods should the supplier request.
TRADE PORTAL ACCOUNT
If you use the supplier’s website, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your devices to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You must ensure that the password is kept confidential. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately.
The supplier reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, you will not be charged.
DELIVERIES
The supplier aims to despatch all orders same day if the supplier receives the order from the purchaser before 2pm, however this cannot be guaranteed.
The supplier despatches using a next day delivery service, the delivery service provider does not guarantee a next day service, however if the supplier has up to date contact details for the purchaser, they will receive tracking information.
Please allow up to five working days for deliveries placed during promotional events.
Free delivery: orders must be over £50 excluding VAT to qualify, otherwise £5 excluding VAT is the standard delivery charge to most parts of mainland UK. This offer is only valid on orders within mainland UK and excludes large or heavy items. The Channel Islands, Offshore Islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. Free delivery does not apply to orders where an offer code has been used, unless stated otherwise.
Damage: risk of damage to or loss of the products shall pass to the purchaser at the time of delivery or, if the purchaser wrongfully fails to take delivery of the products, the time when the supplier has tendered delivery of the products. Delivery of the products shall take place at the purchaser’s premises unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
The purchaser shall within 48 hours of the arrival of each delivery of the products at the purchaser’s premises notify the supplier of any defect by reason of which the purchaser alleges that the products delivered are not in accordance with the specification and which should be apparent on reasonable inspection.
If the purchaser fails to give such a notice, then the purchaser shall be deemed to have accepted the delivery of the products in question and the supplier shall have no liability to the Customer with respect to that delivery.
CANCELLATIONS
If the purchaser needs to cancel an order, they should contact the supplier at the earliest opportunity.
Cancellations for any order after despatch cannot be accepted.
Cancellation of orders for special order or bespoke goods cannot be accepted.
WARRANTIES
The supplier warrants that the products will correspond with their description at the time of delivery.
The above warranty shall be subject to the supplier being under no liability in respect of any defect arising from failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, failure to store the products in appropriate conditions, or use of products in abnormal working conditions.
Some products fall under a manufacturer’s warranty. If a fault occurs the purchaser must be report and return the product for investigation with the manufacturer. The manufacturer will advise the supplier, or the purchaser of the action taken. This process can take up to 14 working days.
Warranties start from the original date of purchase and cannot be transferred. Proof of purchase is required for a warranty claim.
